Responsibilities
• Professionally train employees and ensure awareness of safety and health risks• Provide technical input and solutions to improve productivity and product quality• Establish priorities and track expenditures to ensure compliance with guidelines• Recommend and implement programs to reduce costs and upgrade facilities• Administer contracts for construction, alteration, and installation of work• Develop, implement, improve, and comply with preventative maintenance programs• Supervise and assess skills of department personnel• Maintain current layout of buildings and grounds• Ensure compliance with safety and health, environmental, and fire standards• Operate and maintain heating, air conditioning, electrical, and compressed air systems
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline• Minimum 5 years' industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports and correspondence• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and collect data• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Proficient in electronic data-entry
