Responsibilities
• Maintain required competencies for designated women's health provider• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health problems for patients• Perform histories and physical exams• Provide appropriate documentation and ensure proper closure of patients• Perform office procedures and prescribe medications• Order routine tests and provide initial interpretation of results• Communicate test results to patients• Initiate requests for consultations and special tests• Screen patients for hospitalization• Provide education to patients and families• Function as a preceptor for residents in a clinic setting
Requirements
• United States citizenship• Degree of doctor of medicine or equivalent• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery• Completion of residency training in an accredited program• Proficiency in spoken and written English• Preferred board certification
