Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our licensed physical and occupational therapists in providing high-quality care to patients, facilitating their rehabilitation process, and ensuring a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities:
Assist physical and occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans and exercises for patients. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions. Help patients with exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Monitor patients during therapy sessions and provide assistance and encouragement as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment. Document patient progress and report any concerns or observations to the supervising physical therapist. Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred. Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients as needed. Basic computer skills for documentation and administrative tasks. Benefits:
