Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat residents, under physician's orders• Use therapeutic procedures to restore muscle strength, coordination, and body alignment• Relieve pain and improve movement and function• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor/Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy• Current license in the state of practice• Prefer supervision, training, and/or experience in a similar setting• Certification and demonstrated competency in specialized areas• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Ability to assess resident needs and develop care plans• Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, pushing, etc.
