Job Summary:
Performs venipuncture duties and various clerical duties including computer order entry/change, filing of laboratory reports, and distribution of completed lab reports to various locations. Cooperates and communicates professionally with the medical and nursing staff.
Required Education, Skills, and/or Abilities: High school education or equivalent.Must provide copy of diploma or transcriptsMust have either an SRNA license (with no restrictions), CMA, or an approved Phlebotomy certification within 1 year of hire.Six months phlebotomy experience preferred.Works cooperatively and communicates effectively.Follow oral and written instructions.Excellent communication skills.Computer skills and ability to type.Ability to organize and prioritize workload and work independently.Consistently kind and courteous to patients.Excellent customer service.Education Requirements (Any)HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT Certification Requirements (Any)Phlebotomy
