Job summary
The UNC School of Medicine is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a full-time permanent position.The position is at the Assistant/Associate Professor level and is a three-year fixed term, renewable position.The candidate must have a strong interest in disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBIs or functional gastrointestinal disorders).

Responsibilities
• Expand the academic and clinical mission of the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology.• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to treat patients with DGBIs.• Provide excellent clinical care and teach medical students.• Contribute to advancing research and advocacy missions.• Demonstrate strong clinical and endoscopic skills.
Requirements
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.• Completed pediatric GI subspecialty training.• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and teaching.• Strong clinical and endoscopic skills.• Special interest in pediatric DGBIs.
