Job Summary: MountainStar Children's Services is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist at Timpanogos Regional Hospital. Qualified Candidates: Two physician practice providing care to pediatric patients in the combined 8-bed pediatric floor and 4-bed PICU Occasional tele-consultation with satellite pediatric inpatient unit in Ogden, UT 24/7 split coverage of both units with rounding in the morning and call from home after business hours Cover an average daily census of 4-6 combined PICU/pediatric patients Also responsible for outpatient sedations, mostly for MRIs, averaging 1-2 per week Work closely with a network of pediatric subspecialty providers including cardiology, gastroenterology, surgery, anesthesia, orthopedic surgery, craniofacial/plastic surgery, otolaryngology and interventional radiology Comprehensive pediatric programs with nutrition, child life, case management, and administration support Hospital includes robust Level III NICU Leadership opportunity available About Timpanogos Regional Hospital: 122 licensed beds Recognized as a top 100 hospital Accredited by the joint commission Accredited Chest Pain Center Recognized for patient safety Living in Orem, UT The Orem/Provo metro area often ranks near the top of national polls regarding desirable places to live, work and play.
