Job Responsibilities: Responsible for timely, accurate, and compliantly processing payroll. Responsible for daily pay of subcontractors. Responsible for maintaining payroll processing reporting. Processes employee Time & Attendance data to payroll and reconcile variances. Approve and release time in the time system. Is the payroll expert, and provides training as needed to ensure compliance and full utilization of tools. Process daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly bonuses. Accurate reporting of time and bonus in operating system Process commissions and commission reconciliation. Develops in-depth understanding of payroll software. Create reports on demand. Responsible for month-end duties including approving payroll and benefit related invoices and ensuring timely payment, submitting payroll accrual and general ledger reconciliation. Maintains vendor contact for payroll. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws. Generate and maintain payroll reports for record-keeping and auditing purposes. Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and update payroll procedures accordingly. Required Skills: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information and other proprietary details. Understanding of payroll laws and regulations. Knowledge of payroll administration. Effective time management and communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Keen ability to establish priorities and multi-task. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with Paylocity, a plus. Qualifications/Education: 3-5 years of Payroll experience Why Join Improveit?
