Responsibilities
• Scheduling appointments for new and established patients• Scheduling return visits and ancillary appointments• Registering or scheduling new patients• Scheduling imaging and procedures• Completing patient data forms• Coordinating provider referrals• Retrieving medical records• Addressing patient complaints• Covering for front desk and back-office staff• Providing basic support for training new staff• Completing precertification authorizations• Other assigned duties
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED preferred• 12 months of customer service experience or 6 months of healthcare experience• Bachelor's degree or enrollment in a bachelor's program considered in lieu of experience• Ability to provide a high level of customer service• Excellent communication skills• Ability to work in a team environment• Time management skills• Empathy for others
