The Atlantic Region CBO is seeking a dynamic and talented Patient Accounts Team Lead. After onsite training/orientation in Richmond, VA, a remote/work from home option is possible for this position. The primary responsibility of the Patient Accounts Team Lead is to work in conjunction with the Patient Accounts Manager to coordinate the operational activities of the customer service department.
Key Responsibilities include: Handle patient calls via phone to obtain information necessary to resolve concerns or complete tasks. Work with Customer Service Manager and peers to resolve issues associated with customer service. Assist patient inquiries by resolving timely and providing accurate information for issue resolution. Set example and maintain courteous and professional attitude with internal and external customers and co-workers. Completes training of new hires and ongoing in services as appropriate concerning areas of responsibility and payer specific updates. Monitor incoming call volume to assure patient satisfaction Monitor and coach individual productivity standards on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to assure customer satisfaction goals and objectives are met. Review and/or create daily, weekly and monthly reports as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years customer service experience preferred.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Previous experience in a team lead or supervisory role (preferred)
Customer focused both internally and externally, strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, strong 10 key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Familiarity with customer service and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
