The Parts Specialist supports the Operations Manager of Sanco Services and the team of Installers.
essential functions: Maintains parts inventory by verifying supplies and placing orders when order-points are reached. Gather the correct parts for the Installers to take with them to specific jobs. Utilizes both catalog and on-line resources to secure necessary parts to meet installer needs. Order, receive in, and ship parts to customer locations. Stocks items by unpacking and placing items into bins and on shelves. Receives returned items from installers then returns to proper location and updating inventory. Utilizes both catalog and on-line resources to secure necessary parts to meet customer needs. Turn in parts for warranty and ensure replacement parts are sent to the customer location. Processing vender invoices to accurately maintain and update inventory counts. Data entry with extreme attention to detail with letters and numbers being recorded accurately. Assists Logistics Coordinator in administrative tasks such as invoicing, trip planning, and scheduling. Tracks and maintains company vehicle maintenance schedules. knowledge, education and/or experience: Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) Valid driver's license Previous parts or automotive industry experience preferred Forklift experience a plus skills: Verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Problem solving skills Trouble shooting skills abilities: Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities The ability to multi-task Must be detail oriented Must be self-motivated working conditions: This job operates in a parts store/repair/installation shop environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
