Paralegal- Marketing & Sales, Universal Epic Universe

JOB SUMMARY:Reviews all creative materials and consumer facing communications prepared by the marketing and sales teams for compliance with state and federal advertising, marketing, digital media, and promotion laws, and third-party intellectual property licenses; reviews ticket, hotel and package offers; and provides and applies marketing guidelines to comply with FTC Act and other applicable laws and/or regulations. Provides legal guidance under supervision of the attorneys to discrete business units including, but not limited to, Resource Marketing, Popcorn, brand communications, UX/UI, Content and Innovation, Food & Beverage, Revenue Operations, Entertainment and other.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Reviews and revises creative materials for compliance with license agreements, and state and federal laws; implements and applies marketing principles based on FTC Act and federal and state marketing/advertising laws and regulations.Assists attorneys in reviewing intellectual property usage for compliance with licenses, government regulations, and marketing guidelines, and maintains intellectual property records.Assists attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and revising boilerplate production and promotions agreements and amendments, and drafting marketing services scopes.Conducts legal research.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION: Associate's degree is required - Paralegal Certificate (Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university acceptable in lieu of a Paralegal Certificate).
