Be a part of the future growth and development of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We are combining the elasticity and utility of cloud services with the granular control, security, and predictability of on-premises infrastructure to deliver high-performance, high availability, and cost-effective infrastructure services.
As we are building and growing, we are seeking a high-energy intern to assist and support the Data Center Sourcing team, who are responsible for leasing and acquiring data center space, and assessing related infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience: US Veteran transitioning from active service or active duty Military Spouse new to corporate experience preferred. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: + Project management
+ Develop and document process and workflows
+ Interface with internal customers to develop growth profile and business cases
+ Logistical support for the Data Center Sourcing team
+ Enter and analyze data in spreadsheets
+ Assist with lease renewals and amendments
+ Collaborate with multiple teams across Oracle including, engineering, finance, procurement, and operations teams
Basic Qualifications: + U.S. Citizen
+ U.S. Veteran transitioning from active service or active duty Military Spouse
+ Bachelor's degree or related experience in business or IT
+ Experience working in IT industry
+ Strong written and communications skills
+ Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Strong collaborator, working closely with multiple teams and subject matter experts
+ Successful track record in completing multiple projects
+ Data analytics experience
+ Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheets and other analytic tools and solutions
+ Attention to detail is critical
Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira)
+ Knowledge of commercial real estate or real estate development
+ Knowledge of the data center industry
+ Experience working in a data center
+ Knowledge of data center technologies and design
+ Understanding of data center cabling design and standards

About Oracle Veteran Internship Program: Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposes transitioning military veterans and Military Spouses new to the corporate culture, provides hands-on job-skill training and experience, and offers enhanced professional and personal development. Additional Information: + Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position. + Internship runs from July 29, 2024 through October 18, 2024 – must be available full time 40 hours per week during these dates. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range: from $18.99 to $53.00 per hour; from $39,500 to $110,240 per annum.
