Our client, a leading professional building supply company, is looking for a professional Building Supply Sales Representative to join our team. As a company rooted in Christian values, we are dedicated to providing high value to Pro Customers while fostering a culture focused on leadership, accountability, teamwork, dependability, and communication. 

About Us: 

Our client specializes in manufacturing steel roofing and sidings, custom steel trims, wood trusses, and laminated columns for post-frame buildings. Founded by industry experts, our company thrives on our intimate understanding of the construction industry and our commitment to addressing the shortcomings of traditional building supply companies. 

Responsibilities: 

Build and cultivate strong, lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. 

Identify emerging markets and shifts, staying informed about new products and competitors in the industry. 

Answer telephones, process orders, and collaborate with the delivery coordinator.

Proactively contact customers to generate additional sales and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. 

Develop a consistent pipeline of new business through effective lead follow-up.

Stay updated on construction processes and building materials to provide accurate information and recommendations. 

Document interactions with prospects and customers using standardized tracking tools. 

Lead engaging sales presentations for individuals and decision-making groups. 

Collaborate with internal teams, including branch management, project management, design, finance, and others, to ensure success.

Qualifications: 

Requirements Key:

1+ year(s) of proven sales experience.

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels. 

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of the construction space

Strong knowledge of construction, building materials, and Post Frame Structures. 

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

Team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. 

Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure. 

Effective collaboration with Production, Logistics, and Finance.
