El Cajon, Escondido, Perris and Carson, California.Job DescriptionOutside Sales Representative is responsible and accountable for retention of existing customer base with continued sales growth. Source and grow sales with new business opportunities within assigned market area/territory. Collaborate with Sales Manager and Branch Manager to meet business plan. Prepare and present rental and sales contract agreements to finalize transactions. Extensive driving required. This is a territory based sales position.QualificationsBachelors preferred but years of experience in lieu of degree3 years' experience in construction rental equipment or related industryValid Driver's LicenseREQUIRED COMPETENCIES - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESStrong planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and public speaking/presentation skills. Excellent organizational and computer skills. Experience with Dodge Reports and other data sources. Must be a team player and possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.Additional InformationWork environment is consistent of an office located on parcel housing construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop. Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area. Occasional lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
