We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated OR (Operating Room) Technician to join our team. As an OR Technician at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in assisting surgical teams and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.
Responsibilities Prepare the operating room and ensure it is equipped with necessary supplies and equipment Assist surgical team with patient positioning and draping Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and other team members during procedures Monitor and maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures Prepare and handle specimens for laboratory analysis Operate and maintain surgical equipment Manage and dispose of surgical waste and contaminated items Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the operating room Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent training Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OR Technician Thorough knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs during procedures and provide appropriate support Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control protocols Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) Below is the job details;

Pay Rate: $1,602 - $1,782 weekly base on experience
Shift and Time: 12N; ********

Weekend Rotation: none
-call Requirements: as needed
Holidays Requirements: as needed
Floating Requirements: within OR
Experience Required: 2 year as a CST or ORT; general, vascular, 3+ years experience in level 1 trauma
License Required: Diploma from accredited school
License Preferred: NBSTSA
Certificates Required: AHA BLS
Client Specific Details: All licenses/certifications are needed upon submission.
occ health visit is required prior to starting. anyone living up to 3 hours away will have to come to Kansas city for their occ health visit.
