Projects conducted within this facility are generated to ensure a continuous flow of breeding materials annually, in appropriate quantities, with genetic integrity, quality, and fit for purpose, as these materials are produced in support of commercial breeding objectives of the Global Cotton Breeding Team
During your time as an Operations Technician I , you will Conduct breeding research projects authorized by supervisors that leads to effective conclusions, following established work instructions and safety protocols. Aid in the selection, training, and supervision of contract labor. Aid others in all aspects of greenhouse operations to achieve successful conclusions and outcomes Carry out activities with constant effort to aid team in innovative ways to conduct efforts. If you have... A High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of greenhouse experience or a Bachelor's Degree the ability to learn new database and related computer systems. A Pesticide application certification and Private Applicators License in state, or have the ability to obtain one the ability to operate computers and/or greenhouse equipment, or the ability to learn.
