Our client is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor within their Lodging division. This position is in Lexington, KY. The Operations Supervisor will manage and lead the Reservation Team. Operations Supervisor Responsibilities: Conducting regular meetings, coaching sessions and providing feedback to direct reports, while consistently monitoring their performance and tracking key metrics Vigilantly monitoring all interactions impacting client relationships, including answering calls, processing requests, making reservations and addressing client messages concerning production representatives' activities and basic negotiations Resolving client and hotel inquiries regarding reservation changes promptly and effectively, while ensuring appropriate client communication Addressing and resolving clients' concerns related to production representatives in a timely manner, while promoting accuracy and service quality through spot-checking requests and reservations Conducting quality call monitoring when necessary, and ensuring deadlines are met Assisting in generating and analyzing pertinent statistics, identifying trends and insights Supporting staff in achieving performance targets through coaching, development and disciplinary actions Collaborating with the Learning & Development department to ensure all staff receive adequate training Providing assistance with workload overflow as required Daily monitoring of workflow Operations Supervisor Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of related supervisory experience Demonstrated ability to teach others, work in a team environment and deliver superior service Demonstrated ability to develop, report, interpret, and act on key metrics Proven problem-solving skills, identifying root causes and solutions through a high level of critical thinking Ability to thrive and excel in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Demonstrates a positive "can-do" attitude, self-motivated and committed to high workplace standards Proven effective and professional oral and written communication skills with various levels of audience Excellent interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the internet Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized Prior experience as a subject matter expert for policies and procedures is highly desired Takes initiative, demonstrates personal responsibility and ownership and exemplifies what it means to provide the highest level of customer service If you are interested in this role and meet the requirements above, please apply today!
