Job Description:
We are looking for a confident and driven Operations Manager to join our team at Praxair in San Jose, California. As a part-time Operations Manager at a mid-to-senior level, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our company to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
Responsibilities:1. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency.2. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain.3. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive continuous improvement.5. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.6. Manage a team of operational staff, providing leadership and guidance to achieve departmental goals.7. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all operational activities.9. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability.10. Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term operational strategies.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management.3. Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.4. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to changing business environments.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.8.
