Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety:Finishes the required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron safety policiesFollows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable lawsReports all safety-related concerns or problems immediately to the appropriate individual (Emergency Response Team, Supervision, etc.)Performs audits and submits good catches on safety issuesCommunication/Collaboration:Partners with management to provide data analysis, advanced production web-reports, and develop applications to improve production metricsUnderstands and properly uses area technical languageCreates and delivers effective presentationsLeads interdepartmental meetings for simple to complex issues and projectsMentors others and clearly articulates complex ideas and issues to a broad audienceEstablishes believing relationships across local and global partner groupsParticipates in or leads global alignment meetingsDrives improvement solutions that meet the needs of our customersDevelops a thorough understanding of how process changes in one activity affect the function of other groupsLeverages and shares global OI best known methods (BKM's)Supports 24/7 OI systems when on callProject Management/Planning:Designs and coordinates projects with several different departmentsIdentifies, innovates, designs and leads improvement efforts or special projects related to cycle time reduction, continues improvement projects, world-wide projectsIdentifies project requirements and can plan tasks to meet needed datesUnderstands Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) layout including being able to analyze congestion and slow delivery timesProvides metrics and reporting that drive improving AMHS operation efficiency and delivery timesOptimizes tool-to-tool delivery times and provides on-time deliveryDelivers pre/post metrics for OI enhancements/changesFollows the OI testing cycle (DEV/BETA/PROD) for new software releases to ensure quality implementationTechnical/Data:Applies industrial engineering concepts to line management, scheduling and production planningCreates and uses analytical tools/data, data pipelines/ETL, visualizations, and applications to drive decisionsIdentifies optimization opportunities for the fab and implements innovative solutionsAutomates Fab processes to reduce variability and eliminate wasteDevelops, maintains, and improves scheduling and business rulesSuccessful Candidates must have the following Qualifications:Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skillsConfirmed ability in multi-tasking complex projectsDemonstrated ability to organize and efficiently facilitate meetings and project teamsConfirmed ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple tasksTried ability to plan, drive and complete projects effectivelyShown ability to establish and maintain effective relationshipsValidated skills in working effectively with team members from different subject areasConfirmed ability to work with collaborators to understand needs and define requirementsShown ability to work with diverse skill levels and personalities in a variety of scenarios, and to develop partnerships with support groups and customer groupsDemonstrated strong written and verbal communication skillsCommunicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable mannerCommunicate and present technical information effectivelyDemonstrated critical thinking skillsThorough and able to follow complex proceduresDemonstrated analytical problem-solving skills with ability to solve complex problems and identify and address root causescontinuously learn and self-improveidentify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiencytrack-record of self-motivation, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and measurable resultsProficiency in statistics, data analysis and problem solvingUnderstanding of Manufacturing Science (scheduling, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)Strong emphasis on end user advocacy with a focus on performance support and continuous improvementKnowledge of change management and release management subject areasAdvanced data extraction, analysis, and reporting skillsIntermediate understanding of database management methods and techniquesWorking knowledge of database management methods and techniques including proficiency in SQL, SnowflakeExperience with programming languages such as C#, Perl, Python, VBA, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSSMicrosoft Office Outlook, Excel and Power PointEducation and Experience:MS in Industrial Engineering, equivalent degree, or relevant experience or B.S. degree plus 5 years' experience?As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
