We are currently in search of a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. This hybrid role primarily supports remote work but requires occasional in-office presence for special events, important meetings, and as needs arise. This position offers a great opportunity to engage in a wide range of administrative and operational duties within our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and plan corporate events, including birthday lunches, happy hours, holiday parties, and community service activities.
Assist with recruitment efforts, including interview scheduling and new hire documentation.
Support onboarding processes and collaborate closely with HR to enhance employee integration.
Manage and organize monthly reporting and ensure timely submissions.
Handle badging procedures for new team members.
Undertake general administrative tasks to support day-to-day operations.
Organize travel and conference arrangements as well as training and performance appraisal coordination.
Provide administrative support to senior leadership, including managing schedules and travel arrangements.
Perform additional duties as needed to support team and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Government contracting industry.
U.S. Citizen with eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government Public Trust Clearance.
At least 2 years of proven office or administrative experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective time management abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for prioritizing tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, or similar software.
Familiarity with job boards and modern online recruitment tools and applications.
