This position provides operational analysis, staffing, and policy advice to US Army Forces Command leadership and staff and provides teaching support to US Army units through mobile training teams and staff assistance visits. The position is full time, on-site in a professional office setting.
Duties & Responsibilities Provide service level subject matter expertise to develop, staff, and make recommendations to the FORSCOM G-3/5/7 Aviation Division Operations Branch Chief on policy and guidance to enable FORSCOM to execute the command Personnel Recovery (PR) program. Identify policy needs, incorporating lessons learned, tactics, techniques and procedures, to prepare commanders, staffs, and individuals to conduct Personnel Recovery. Convert DoD and Army Personnel Recovery messages into recommended FORSCOM directives and guidance. Assist in development and maintenance of FORSCOM's Personnel Recovery program through written OPLANS, OPORDS, and DEPORDS at the 4-star level. Teach units and individuals all aspects of Army Personnel Recovery including individual SERE tasks at the classified level. Possess and maintain current Information Assurance Level I professional certification. Pass a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiry. Possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Shall be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to effectively carry out all contract requirements. The employee shall have a command of both the written and spoken English language to properly clearly, and effectively communicate in person or via electronic devices (telephone or Email) at the executive level with co-workers, customers, and the general public. 20% travel required. Required Qualifications* Possess and maintain current Information Assurance Level I professional certification. Pass a favorable National Agency Check (NAC) with inquiry. Possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Must be a SERE Level C (High Risk) graduate from a recognized DoD program. Shall be a U.S. citizen. Possess appropriate training and experience to perform all required functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate by talking or hearing.
