We are currently seeking a Networking Advisor to join our team in Coimbatotore, Tamil Nadu (IN-TN), India (IN).
Position overview Acts as the subject matter expert on multiple networks and related systems. Act as point of escalation for the Network Data team and collaborate with internal services support teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Manages the development of innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems of clients. Providing highest level support on the complex systems, investigating, analyzing, and resolving difficult problems on network components and multi-purpose platform systems. Manages the development of new internal programs or modifications of current systems. Handling Technical projects and report to Delivery/Top management. Position's General Duties and Tasks: Conducting advanced technical reviews and problem resolutions, focused on improving performance levels of Network Switching operations Design architecture for Network Switching and Routing solutions. Lead Technical initiatives mandated by Sr. Leadership completed within scope and timelines Implement Network Switching and Routing solutions in a customer environment. Provide technical leadership and direction of Engineering group with upgrades, transitions, system design/ redesign as needed. Lead Quality Reviews process as required supporting Project Provide operational support of the Network Data environment. Will provide technical escalation to L2/L3 support engineers Provide On-call support for high severity incidents in a 24x7 environment Detect Network issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure. Ensure that Service Level Agreements and operational standards are met. Perform system maintenance, checkups and maintain current documentation. Provide resolution plans for device issues. Propose service, process, and technical improvements to management. Excellent Time Management skills required to properly manage operations duties and other task that will assist in the optimization of the firewall team Ability to chair bridge calls delegating tasks and drive to resolution Escalation calls for Technical Security issues collaborating with other support teams. Qualifications Must have Skills: Advanced experience and proven knowledge in different network data products likes Switches and Routers (CISCO, Aruba, and Enterasys) 8+ Years of Experience Advanced networking troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge of web connectivity and protocols (HSRP, VLANS, STP, OSPF, BGP and MPLS.) 8+ Years of Experience Experience deploying and supporting Switches and Routers. 8+ Years of Experience Full understanding of WAN/LAN networking including design elements and protocol interoperability. 5+ Years of experience Aruba and Cisco Vendors knowledge – 3+ Years of experience Knowledge and skills in ITIL Library – 3+ Years List Secondary Skill and years of experience (If resource/candidate is not having this will be difficult but not impossible) Please indicate 1 skillset here. Knowledge of Network Monitoring tools, such as Solarwinds or Entuity. – 3 Years Very good verbal and written communication skills in English language. – 5+ Years Nice to have, but not required: List Nice to have skills and years of experience (If resource/candidate is not having these will not be a reason for rejection ) Please indicate up to 5 skillsets here. Customer Service Skills – 4 Years Teamwork, adaptability to changes, self-managed. Education Requirements Network Engineer, Telecomm Engineer, Electronic Engineer or similar. Must have ACSP (Aruba Certified Switching Professional and / or CCNP Enterprise or similar certification.
