Our client, a leader and manufacturer of all natural citrus based ingredients and beverages, is seeking an exceptional National Accounts Manager-Foodservice Multi-Unit to join their team. This is a remote position located in the United States preferably near a major airport.
The position is primarily responsible for securing new multi-unit national chain business that is aligned with the company's strategic business objectives and effectively managing key operators to successfully attain sales goals. The National Account Manager-Foodservice Multi-Unit will work collaboratively with the broader sales team to ensure distributor alignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Achieve sales target for assigned markets, meet, or exceed sales budget Identify, cultivate, and secure new multi-unit national account business With sales leadership, work cross-functionally with Finance/Legal/Commercialization to manage contract business Review and make recommendations related to contracts with a focus on growing market share Effectively manage existing and prospective operator relationships Identify new multi-unit chain business with significant opportunity that is aligned with company strategic product platforms and business processes Conduct monthly business reviews to ensure operator and company alignment with evolution of operator business, menu development and changes, and that contract terms and conditions are being met Regular review of performance to budget and sales trends utilizing CRM pipeline and Power BI Work with operator to understand unexpected changes in volume Update leadership about these changes, reason for changes, and expectations moving forward Work with operators to submit forecasts including needed updates to ensure accuracy in business planning Manage customer pricing including rebates and accruals in alignment with company policies and procedures Be an avid student of the industry staying current on market activity, product knowledge and competitive landscape Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: 8+ years sales experience in the Foodservice Industry with direct responsibility for Multi-Unit/National Accounts with a demonstrated track record of success In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods 3+ years effectively using a CRM to manage sales pipeline and related activities Self-starter with strong problem-solving, process management, communication, and relationship-building skills Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work cross-functionally and as a strong contributor within functional area Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes Highly motivated, proactive professional Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail 40% Travel required 30% bonus target Competitive benefits ***All applications must be accompanied by a current professional resume!
