Multimedia Designer Salary/Range: $19.00 Hr.
Starlight is seeking a video + production savvy "Star" to join our team as Multimedia Designer! This will be a part-time position that will work year-round.
The Multimedia Designer supports the video creative as a member of the in-house multimedia team collaborating with the Multimedia Manager to ensure projects are created and delivered on time. This position will play a significant role in developing video in support of multiple initiatives. Working from concept to completion, the ideal candidate has excellent time management, communication, and actively contributes to the goals of the Marketing + Sales team.
Required Accountabilities & Deliverables: Apply video, photography and production skills to in-house creative projects working in various capacities independently, along-side, and under the direction of the Multimedia Manager generating end-to-end multimedia solutions that align with the objectives of various departments.
Ability to prioritize and execute with a strong sense of effort/impact efficiency to where multiple projects can be maximized within their respective timeframes and advance concurrently without losing sight of other projects for multiple platforms (i.e. social media, website, in-venue screens, etc.)
Localize TV, radio, and digital video assets provided by touring productions and seek approvals with key stakeholders.
Work with in-house Graphic Designer to manage all video venue signage, including LED screens.
Assist production department on cross-functional projects.
Help to clean, maintain, and calibrate all video and editing equipment, and video archives.
Elevate the Starlight brand through campaigns, advertising channels, and internal and external communications, being an active part of project ideation and content creation.
Maintain a working knowledge of various editing software and production equipment, including video, audio, lighting, and live streaming equipment.

The above listing is not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the organization. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, etc.) in Mac and PC.
Working knowledge of video encoding best practices for numerous video delivery mediums.
Creativity in storytelling and problem solving, exceptional time management and communication skills.
Preferred Education and/or Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field and a strong reel or body of work.
Experience in videography, cinematography, sound/video editing or relevant related field.
Knowledge of various camera systems.
Other Working Conditions: This role consists of both desk-based and live-event responsibilities, primarily adhering to an on-site M-F work week schedule and aligning with Starlight's office hours. Responsibilities for media capture and live production support of weeknight and weekend events will be split with the Multimedia Manager and determined on an as-needed basis. This role requires the ability to independently move and set up large amounts of video production equipment. Due to Starlight's business, availability and communication may be required in cases of urgent or emergency matters during nights and weekends. Due to the onsite requirements of the work, this role will be rarely eligible for remote work.
