Mortgage Loan Officer

Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Loan Officer to join our team. If you have a background in financial services and excel in customer service, we'd love to hear from you. As a Loan Officer, you'll be instrumental in guiding our clients through the mortgage process, making their homeownership dreams a reality.
Responsibilities:
- Assess loan applications to determine applicant eligibility
- Support clients through the mortgage journey, from application to closing
- Offer guidance on loan products and help clients choose the best option for their needs
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other pertinent guidelines
- Collaborate with clients to negotiate favorable loan terms
- Review financial documents to evaluate applicant creditworthiness
- Work closely with internal teams to streamline the loan approval process
Skills:
- Exceptional customer service abilities
- Familiarity with mortgage servicing and escrow procedures
- Proficiency in negotiation and contract drafting
- Strong grasp of financial sales techniques
- Knowledge of FNMA guidelines
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Proficient in 10-key typing
- Understanding of escrow procedures
