Responsibilities
• Plan and perform calibrations to SRS standards and measuring/testing equipment• Follow site policies, procedures, and guidance from supervision• Complete inspection records, logs, and associated documents• Provide technical assistance and training to mechanics, operators, and customers• Perform calibrations according to approved procedures• Interpret engineering and design drawings for calibration implementation• Perform verification of corrective actions and proficiency evaluations• Interact with suppliers for technical advice and new instruments/procedures
Requirements
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent state credential• Ability to obtain and maintain an L security clearance• Associate degree in applicable field or equivalent experience desired• Graduate of a U.S. Military Metrology School or four years of calibration experience• Knowledge in electrical, pressure, mass, dimensional, or temperature calibration
