Job Summary: Xavier University of Louisiana and the RCMI Program is seeking one full time Medicinal Chemist. Responsibilities of the position include rational design, synthesis, and structure-activity relationship studies in targeted protein degradation as therapeutic agents. The chemist will perform organic synthesis, characterization, manage the research laboratory and work with the RCMI Cancer Research Center. Experience in multi-step synthesis and anti-cancer drug design is required. Review of applications will begin immediately.
