Job Description and Duties Anticipated Interview Dates: In-person interviews are anticipated to begin the week of April 22, 2024. Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
Our Health Account Management Division is currently seeking a Staff Service Analyst (SSA). The SSA will provide assistance to CalPERS members who are eligible or enrolled in CalPERS offered Medicare health coverage. The preferred candidate will have some experience working in health care domain, i.e. health care plans or health insurance.
The candidate will demonstrate initiative, dependability, solve problems with support, follow CalPERS' core values and mission. This role requires effective communication and interaction with CalPERS members, team members, and CalPERS health plans. In addition, the candidate is willing to learn, use analytical skills to research member health accounts, and offer excellent customer service to our members.
Under the Health Account Management Division, the Medicare Analyst works as a liaison with CalPERS contracted health plans. They will ensure that CalPERS members are receiving continuity of health coverage following the Public Employees' Retirement Law guidelines.
