Medical Data Entry Clerk

POSITION: Data Entry Clerk DEPARTMENT: Business Office
PAY: $15-$16/HR Job Summary: This individual is responsible for processing incoming patient and insurance payments and entering physician clinic and ASC charges that include surgeon, anesthesia and facility billing. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years experience in medical practice. NextGen experience, preferred RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Primary Responsibilities Accurately posts all incoming patient and insurance payments including electronic and paper checks and ERAs.  Balances daily business activities and closes out each day's receipts for the deposit. Ensures payments are secured until posted. HS Diploma or Equivalent.
1-2+ years of administrative and data entry experience required.
