Medical Biller

Silverhill Hospital is a leading healthcare provider in the Hospital & Health Care industry, dedicated to providing exceptional services to patients. We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller at Silverhill Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, ultimately contributing to the financial success of the hospital and the overall satisfaction of our patients.
Responsibilities Review and process medical claims for accuracy and completeness Verify insurance information and coordinate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations Generate and submit claims electronically or via paper as required Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, and provide necessary documentation to support appeals if necessary Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to resolve billing issues Update billing software with accurate patient and insurance information Ensure compliance with all billing and coding regulations and guidelines Prepare and distribute monthly reports on billing and collection activities Handle confidential patient information with utmost professionalism and discretion Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes and procedures Familiarity with electronic billing systems Proficient in medical terminology, coding, and billing software Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities High level of professionalism and integrity when dealing with sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
