Responsibilities
• Requesting and managing patient materials• Coordinating appointment schedules• Scheduling and coordinating meetings, events, and travel• Managing calendars and preparing documents• Processing invoices and reimbursements• Composing and transcribing correspondence/documents• Supporting departmental projects/activities• Creating and maintaining web pages, databases, and spreadsheets• Answering telephones and providing follow-through• Supporting healthcare provider and serving as a direct contact to patients
Requirements
• High school diploma/G.E.D with 2 years of administrative support experience• OR 1-year degree/diploma in admin, business, or medical program with 1-year experience• OR associate's degree in admin, business, or medical program• Completion of Medical Terminology course (if no medical education/experience)• Skills in organization, customer service, communication, and prioritization• Experience with meeting management, calendar coordination, and business software• Proficient in English grammar and computer use• Ability to adapt and handle a changing environment• Experience with travel coordination and expense management is preferred
