High School Diploma or equivalent Successful completion and certification in the Department of Human Services Medication Administration Course Appropriate Documentation

community) Formal nursing assistant and med tech training What will I do as a Med-Tech with Messiah Lifeways? Perform all the skills and duties of a Nursing Assistant Assist with treatments and therapies under the direction of licensed personnel and according to departmental policy Assist residents with medications per physician's orders Take reasonable measures to ensure that residents take their medications Document all medications administered to residents on their EMAR Communicate medication errors and/or refusal of medication to nursing as soon as possible, in order for the nurse to follow protocol Utilize Messiah Lifeways' licensed personnel (nurse) for medical questions, and for assessing residents following a fall Keep the work area neat and clean ensuring the confidentiality of resident records Participate in updating resident RASPs and reviews for accuracy Messiah Lifeways is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.
