Mahaska Communications Group (MCG) is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to assist in executing the marketing department's goals and facilitating fluid communication between marketing and other departments within MCG, Musco, and external partners while overseeing all aspects of MCG's digital marketing campaigns, resulting in achieving company goals. MCG offers internet and phone services to several communities in southern Iowa. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes administrative tasks that assist in marketing MCG's services or products by coordinating meetings, organizing teams or external partners, working with the creative team for design requests, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Responsible for planning and implementing the company's email and digital marketing strategy to achieve the company's goals: execute email campaigns, compile email and mailing lists, manage subscriber databases, create engaging newsletters and blogs, and analyze and report on campaign performance.
Coordinates and communicates with internal team and external partners regarding all event and sponsorship activities and set-up details, including facility locations, accommodations, signage, displays, printing, and promotional materials.
Monitors, maintains, and coordinates the delivery of all marketing inventory and promotional materials for all MCG locations when needed.
Assist in managing various marketing projects with documented communications for the marketing department.
Write content for internal and external communications, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
4-year college degree in the area of communication, marketing, public relations, or business is strongly preferred
1-2 years of directly related or similar experience, but not required for the right applicant.
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
Other Special Requirements:
Valid driver license
Flexible schedule as needed for large community events and sponsorship activities that occasionally require evenings and a few Saturdays a year.
