Job Summary This position is accountable for safely and efficiently life and palletize parts. Operating forklifts to shift and stack bales, cartons, containers, crates, and pallets of goods/products both indoors and outdoors.
Job Description Manually lifts and palletizes parts. Keeps heat codes separated. Visually inspects parts produced by the client's Shop, separating all questionable material for review by the Quality Assurance department. Operates and maintains packaging equipment. Perform minor rework, de-burring etc., when directed. Ensures goods are stored in the correct area so they may be located easily when making up orders. Ensures a safe and clean operation. Follows company policies and procedures. Supports and/or participates in the organization's continuous Improvement Program – Quality and ISO 9000 (QS as appropriate). Other duties as assigned. Skills Required 1+ years in manufacturing environment a plus Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Basic mechanical understanding Basic safety requirements as related to production environment Must have good hand-eye coordination and mobility Must have basic mechanical skills and understanding of use of basic tools and functions Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition and subtraction) Must be able to read and write, English preferred Must be able to work overtime as needed Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma / GED TRAINING: Quality Management System and Indoctrination Plant required, New Hire Safety Training Product training as needed Customer specified or supplied training, when required Job specific procedures, work instructions, forms, and processes (if applicable) and as needed per QMS revisions and updates Additional Requirements Physical Requirements: Standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50#, squatting and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day.
