Material Handler

1st shift Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Responsibilities include:
Retrieve products according to pick lists and match them with product lines. Check contents against records (e.g., Global Shop) to ensure accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Professionally package products to guarantee safe transportation, appearance, and security from damage. Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve issues like damages, shortages, or deviations from specifications. Manage shipping materials and supplies inventory using the Kanban system. Enter data from pick lists into computer systems or scanners. Use visual management to move and store products in designated locations. Transport materials to various departments using equipment like hand trucks, conveyors, or sorting bins. Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months forklift experience. Ability to read and follow pick lists and logistics procedures. Openness to learning 5S principles and Lean processes. Self-motivated individual. Flexibility to work the Material Handler's schedule. Strong attention to detail. Utilization of critical thinking skills to organize stock effectively. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with the Global Shop system. Forklift experience and willingness to undergo certification training. Must have previous experience with booking carriers & shipping/receiving.
