Mater Dei Instructional Assistant

The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eighth grade Parish School in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking Mater Dei Instructional Assistants for the ******** school year. Mater Dei Instructional Assistant duties include but are not limited to helping the Mater Dei teacher to monitor student progress, observing and communicating students' strengths and challenges, implementing curriculum, keeping the classroom clean and safe, and assisting in creating visual aids for various lessons. The Mater Dei Instructional Assistant should have a background and/or experience working with students with special needs or diverse learners. The assistant, along with the homeroom teacher, is committed to offering excellence in student intellectual, spiritual, and character formation.
