While we are continuing to make changes in shop appearance and shop equipment (including adding A/C to the shop soon), we are looking for Technicians that are comfortable turning wrenches and looking to work for a family-owned business where you're more than a number, you are family!WHAT WE OFFER:Medical, dental, visionAnnual Retention Bonuses after 2 years employment $1000.00, $5000.00 and $2000.00 per yearPaid Time OffCareer growth and paid training to continue advancing as a VW technician.Relocation assistance based on experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receiving and carrying out Repair Orders as dispatched.Performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting to determine repair needs.Performing maintenance work on customer and dealership vehicles.Performing high-quality and efficient repair services for various automotive systems, including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning in accordance with Center and Factory standards.Performing Quality Control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete.Completing all required paperwork and documentation for repair services.Maintaining an organized, clean workspace and accounting for dealership and personal tools at all times.Communicating directly and efficiently with Service Advisors and Parts Department Employees.Participating in continual VW proprietary training/education programs to hone skills and develop expertise in industry-leading VW automotive technologies and processes.Demonstrating behaviors consistent with Employers' values in all interactions.REQUIREMENTS:VW Master Technician or VW Certified Technician are desired, but NOT REQUIRED if your dealership experience is substantial.Ability to identify the problem quickly.Effective analytical and communication skills.Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.ASE certifications preferred.Minimum of 1-year experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic Computer Skills.Positive, friendly attitude.SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
