Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 law firm, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager (Litigation) to join its dynamic Marketing team in Columbia, South Carolina.

The Marketing Manager (Litigation) will focus on establishing marketing strategies to meet the Firm's objectives, while evaluating client research, market conditions, and competitor data. Recognizing the need to pivot at times when executing a strategy, the Marketing Manager (Litigation) will know how to implement marketing plan changes as needed. The Marketing Manager (Litigation) is comfortable e stablishing marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of services and is a pro at d eveloping and executing marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the growth and expansion of the Firm's services.
You are comfortable evaluating the financial aspects of service development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations and you know how to develop and recommend strategy for the Firm which will result in the greatest share of the market over the long run. As the Marketing Manager (Litigation), you feel comfortable conducting marketing surveys on current and new service concepts and assisting in researching, analyzing, and monitoring financial, technological, and demographic factors to ensure market opportunities may be capitalized on. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be able to effectively assist the Director in planning and overseeing the Firm's advertising and promotional activities and assist the Director in securing effective control of marketing results and, when needed, implement corrective action so that achievement of marketing objectives is within designated budgets. You will lead a team and be expected to monitor their performance and conduct performance appraisals.
You have a bachelor's or master's degree and a minimum of 7 years of meaningful experience in a midsize or large law firm marketing department.
