Please see: Job brief: The ART Manufacturing QC Technician is a combination hardware QC and software QA role, primarily responsible for ensuring our automated kiosk products are properly configured, calibrated, and fully tested prior to shipping to our customer locations from our warehouses located in Sarasota, FL and Las Vegas, NV. The Manufacturing QC Technician will work cross functionally with our operations and technology teams, as well as our system integration partner in Las Vegas, and our kiosk manufacturer in Asia. The Manufacturing QC Technician's primary function is to ensure our kiosks are fully validated, calibrated, operational, and configured correctly for the specific location the kiosk will be operating in. Summary of Key Responsibilities: Responsible for kiosk software installation, configuration, and validation testing per documented commissioning process. Responsible for ensuring the kiosk and software is configured correctly according to the location it is assigned. Conduct cycle testing to validate the kiosk is properly calibrated and is working reliably. Manage QC of all kiosk hardware components to ensure proper operation, installation, calibration, configuration, and quality. Collaborate with our kiosk manufacturer in Asia as well as our system integration partner in Las Vegas to troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve any hardware or electrical problems per kiosk. Correction of minor mechanical and electrical issues identified during the QC process. This role could also require some late-shift hours in order to overlap time zones with our manufacturing partner in Asia. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: At least two years of related experience required. High School diploma; Associate's degree or postsecondary certificate in related discipline preferred. Significant experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing hardware, mechanical and electrical systems. Experience as a hardware field technician is a plus. Comfortable and experienced with installing and configuring modern computer equipment and software. Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing. Ability to plan work and meet agreed milestones and schedules. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work cross functionally with technology, operations, as well as with our manufacturing and integration partners. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination. Manual dexterity to evaluate, install, and modify equipment. Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components. Pushing and pulling of kiosks with the aid of pallet jacks. Bending over and extending body for manufacturing process. Must be comfortable utilizing hand and power tools. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Travel: None. Work Environment: Exposure to warehouse environment that may include loud noises. Exposure to fluorescent lighting in an office environment.
