job summary:
A Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a world leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives in the Mossville, IL area. This role involves providing manufacturing solutions, leading process improvements, and collaborating within a team to enhance engine assembly processes and troubleshoot issues.

salary: $28.06 - 39.29 per hour
work hours: 8am to 4pm

responsibilities:
Provide manufacturing solutions for engine assembly and disassembly.
Develop and implement assembly processes aligning with company standards.
Analyze issues, determine root causes, and lead improvement projects.
Troubleshoot daily issues, develop solutions, and monitor improvements.
Procure manufacturing-related materials from external suppliers.
Address customer issues and drive process improvements.
Enhance Value Stream metrics through process improvement activities.
Skills:
Design experience (Creo preferred)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology.
Any amount of experience will be considered with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
Must have engine experience with 5+ years related experience.
H.S. Diploma and GED candidates will be considered.
