Manages and directs all aspects of project development and funding, construction, testing, equipment installation, schedules and milestones and turnover activities for multiple specified Urenco UUSA Group projects. Function as the main interface with site managers, key stakeholders, and the Urenco Group Projects team to effectively implement the schedules for assigned projects. Oversees the validation of vendor contracts compliance associated with multiple assigned project activities. Interface, as necessary, with European Design Authority and U.S. Design Authority on all matters relating to core and balance of plant design.
Accountable for managing large construction projects on the order of a $500k to over $3 billion. Direct and manage construction organizations, including contractor oversight to complete assigned projects Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor?s degree
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
8 years of related work experience; of which at least 3 are in a leadership role.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor?s degree in an engineering or construction management discipline and 10 years of related work experience; of which at least 3 years being in a leadership role in project management, engineering, construction, or operations.  Knowledge of corrective action program requirements and the ability to determine, communicate and obtain assistance for challenges to completing assigned activities per the schedule are a plus. Job Details The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM. 
Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required.  Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
Travel Required: 20% of the time or less as required.
Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required.
Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Job may require sitting at a desk for long period.
Job may require walking, standing and climbing to make field observations.
Primary Functions Knowledgeable in construction principles and problem solving techniques.
Knowledgeable in the generation and application of project management principles, concepts and techniques including managing multiple critical path schedules, Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index.
Knowledgeable of vendor contract requirements and capable of confirming contract performance.
Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate established priorities across multiple groups.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting requirements such as NQA-1, State of New Mexico Construction Industries Division, and NRC licensing requirements.
Knowledgeable of scheduling systems and or tools such as Primavera and MS Projects applications.
Knowledgeable of basic engineering, industrial safety and construction principles.
Ability to provide prioritization, direction, and support to solve a variety of problems.
Ability to direct and establish working conditions suitable to meeting critical deadlines, yet remain flexible in responding to changing requirements.
Ability to understand and interpret project schedules, cost and budget data, engineering and construction drawings.
