THE JOB / Manager of Inclusive Diversity***Our headquarters is in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position can be in one of our office locations - - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA or Atlanta, GA. This person will be required to go into the office a minimum three days a week, and sometimes more depending on the events and programs they’ll need to manage or support.AsManager of Inclusive Diversity,you will collaborate cross-functionally within the Inclusive Diversity ecosystem to successfully implement our strategic and tactical initiatives to increase diversity and foster inclusion and belonging within agencies.  You will also be the administrator for the wider ID team as we implement three key pillars that comprise Octagon/R&CPMK’s top-level strategy: WORKFORCEis our people commitment; intentional strategies to ensure our internal community reflects the world around it.WORKPLACEis our cultural commitment; applying DEI to cultivate an environment of belonging and well-being for all.WORK IMPACTis our purpose commitment; ensuring meaning and purpose consistently drive how we deliver for our clients and show up in the communities we live and work.Your role will focus on supporting our DEIB efforts across the management of: Administration:you will be POC and manage all ID team administrative tasks required to successfully implement our strategic and tactical initiatives, including new vendor onboarding, creation and execution of partnership agreements, invoice collection, PO generation and management, event logistics, program planning, and executionPartnerships: you will lead the identification and development of external partnerships with the objectives of building pipelines into recruitment and implementing overarching strategies to improve diversity & inclusion within our industries (sports, entertainment & PR)Recruitment: you will support the respective Octagon/R&CPMK recruitment teams to implement innovative outreach programs using diversity and inclusion practices in support of our commitment to increase access to employment-related opportunities and grow the diversity of staff within our family of agenciesProgramming: working with our committee of Inclusive Diversity co-chairs, you will co-manage and assist in the execution of the programming calendar across our various ERGS (Women’s Leadership Network, Black Employee Network, IPGLBT+, SOMOS Hispanic/Latino Heritage Group, AZN (Asian Heritage Group), and Jewish Community Group); annual global ID summit and other programs and events throughout the yearCommunication: you will manage the creation, aggregation, and distribution of timely content across various communications channels including but not limited to the ID microsite, agency social media posts, and internal newsletters/emails for Octagon/R&CPMK employeesMeasurement: you will support the President in measuring and reporting performance against diversity & inclusion goals for our agencies as well as the collective Octagon/R&CPMK networkThe bigger team you’ll joinThe Octagon/R&CPMK network, within the Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), encompasses industry leaders Octagon, R&CPMK, Frukt, and Futures. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
