Responsibilities
• Establish clear Category Management strategies for the company and retailers• Serve as an expert in translating internal knowledge into action to identify opportunities for assigned retailers• Collaborate with the account teams and cross functional teams to develop solutions to business issues• Establish and deliver best-in-class merchandising recommendations• Influence the customer by identifying opportunities and providing potential solutions• Assist with any research and lead projects• Develop category reviews, line reviews, promotion analysis, new item trackers, etc.• Leverage data tools to provide reporting and insights• Develop analyses and insights for business issues• Partner with key internal teams to leverage insights
Requirements
• 5+ years of Consumer-Packaged Goods industry experience• Bachelor's degree• Microsoft Office (very strong Excel/PowerPoint) Experience• IRI/Nielsen syndicated and panel data experience required• Dollar General 1010 system/data experience preferred• JDA experience preferred• Up to 20% overnight travel time
