About White Limozeen
It's all pink everything at our rooftop bar and restaurant, White Limozeen. Take in skyline views as you lounge poolside on a fuchsia-fringed daybed or pull up a seat indoors at the rosy onyx bar. The restaurant has space for pop-up performances, while a private 'green room' is the perfect boho hideaway for those in need of some R&R.
White Limozeen seeks an experienced Maitre D/Floor Manager. This role will oversee the host team and also function as a floor manager and key holder.
Duties: - Help to oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department in a hotel setting
- Supervise and train staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of services
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and ensure timely seating of guests
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns or requests
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the guest experience
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong guest relations skills and a friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant guest services
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using Resy, is a plus
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications. The Maitre D may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
