Full job description Job Description As an emerging authority on GM's culture, business model and industry, a coordinator is a strategic advisor and administrator to functional managers to help them make sound business decisions. Lead Maintenance teams on shift, oversee Maintenance Supervisors and lead breakdown activities during shift. Plan weekend work activities and schedule vacations and coverage as required. Report issues and liaise with Production and Maintenance Management to ensure throughput is maintained.
Contributes and collaborates in all forms (new ideas, solutions, team calls, partnerships with colleagues and functional leaders.) Provides administrative support and improves processes. Leads and drives projects within a matrixed environment. Guide Maintenance Group Leader with day to day activities Run larger/complex Breakdowns Overview Manpower requirements Track and schedule Skilled Trades training Support Maintenance Weekend Work Support TIP activities Monitor Build Schedule Follow up on Disciplinary issues Assist in weekend & breakdown follow up Assist with Safety Observation Tours Lead Construction activities Follow upon Safety Incidents Stand in for Maintenance Group Leader as required Assist Maintenance Planner with Weekend and Launch Activities Deliver Critical Communication follow up Assist with Scrap Reduction initiatives Shift Rotation with Maintenance Coordinator Preferred Qualifications: 4 year Engineering Degree with 2 years Maintenance Supervisory experience or 2 year Degree with 5 years Maintenance Supervisory experience
