This position's location could be varied depending on the support needed. Potential locations are: MI/OH/TN Responsibilities Manage the project Work with the general contractor to plan and install the low voltage system including CCTV, Access Control, AV system, structured cabling, IT asset moving, and server room. Coordinate with the General contractor, Architect, MEP vendor for the design and construction. Manage the subcontractors for the low voltage installation. Provide the initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to successfully complete a project. Prepare a complete estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications. Plan and organize a project under the directions of a construction project manager. Supervise all purchasing and delivery of project materials of the scope. Supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the subcontractors to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budget. Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines, and under supervision. Provide all relevant documentation on the entire project cycle. Provide progress information and reports at regular intervals to meet internal and external reporting deadlines. Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client. Represent the company (NEXIEN) in the project meetings. This is not a complete listing and other duties may be assigned based on the position's role within the business unit. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management or related majors 5+ years of experience in the low voltage project 2+ years of experience as a project manager Bi-lingual capability is preferred. Willing to travel for the projects.
