Our kitchen needs you! Saz's is slinging a lot more than ribs these days. Our seasonal menu is full of fresh items that need a cook's finesse. We are currently looking for line and prep cooks. Full and Part time opportunities available and weekend availability is required!
Orientation and training for this position will start immediately!
Essential job functions Squat, kneel, climb ladders or step stools as needed
Use industrial cleaning chemicals
Grip objects and tools (including wet or slippery items); utilize fine motor skills
Stand up to 12 hours at a time
Lift up to 50 lbs to chest level and up to 30 lbs overhead
Ability to communicate verbally in English; ability to communicate in Spanish is beneficial but not required
Ability to read English; ability to read and write Spanish is beneficial but not required
Consistent, timely attendance
Understanding of metric system of measurement

RequirementsTo keep delicious food on our tables, we are looking for experienced line cooks. If you know the ins and outs of kitchen operations and sanitation, EVEN BETTER!

Additional Requirements: At least 3 years of high volume line cook experience
Consistently produce food products in accordance with existing recipes and procedures
Follow all safety, sanitation and HACCP procedures as instructed
Knowledge of all basic cooking techniques and skills, including: knife skills, basic cuts, all cooking methods
Knowledge of basic equipment, including: fryer, convection oven, and griddle
Basic understanding of herbs, spices, and various flavoring ingredients
Ability to roast, broil, braise, sauté, fry, and grill (including breakfast items)
Ability to work in a production capacity
Ability and flexibility to be continually rotated to different stations
Complete tasks as instructed and within the time frame assigned
