Family Services is a non-profit organization that protects, heals and cares for children and families throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Family Services cares for individuals who are isolated, abandoned or just need help developing the skills to live successfully.
Our 988 Wisconsin Lifeline provides high-quality, comprehensive crisis counseling services via call, text and/or chat for consumers experiencing thoughts of suicide in addition to support and assistance services for Wisconsin residents experiencing emotional distress. Due to continued growth, 988 Wisconsin Lifeline has an opening for part-time in-person and remote Lifeline Counselors working 30 hours a week during 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts . Remote candidates must reside in the State of Wisconsin. In-person candidates work from our Brown County location. Part-time team members enjoy flexible scheduling options and will work with the Program Coordinator on a quarterly basis to select their working days and hours in support of program staffing needs.
Enjoy a shift differential while working 2nd, 3rd and all Weekend shifts. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field is preferred. Extensive training is provided. Applicants with Master's degrees and/or credentialed (LPC-IT, CAPSW, LPC, or LCSW) are encouraged to apply. Competitive compensation is provided for these positions. For candidates considering the remote work option: Remote workers must reside in the State of Wisconsin and work must only occur while in the State of Wisconsin. Remote workers must have a private, confidential workspace and have the ability to double lock any confidential information kept at home and appropriately dispose of any confidential information stored at home (i.e. shredding). Additionally, Remote workers must have the capacity to plug their computer/phone directly into their modem/router and provide an internet speed report verifying high-speed internet services.
