Position Overview: As a Learning and Development Specialist at Telarus, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, and supporting training programs that align with our organizational goals. You'll have the opportunity to assess training needs, create engaging learning materials, and utilize various training methods to cater to diverse learners. In addition, this role may involve occasional travel to observe in-person educational events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, schedule, and deliver effective in-person, virtual, and on-demand educational opportunities for various Telarus audiences. Identify and assess the training needs of Technology Advisors and employees. Create and update training materials, modules, and assessments. Utilize various training methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, on-the-job training, and blended learning with a bias towards virtual and on-demand learning experiences. Travel to observe in-person educational events and conferences, as needed. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver top-notch training. Maintain and update training records and reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, human resources, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years of experience in the Telecom industry. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Experience with learning management systems (e.g., LearnUpon), e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360), and virtual learning platforms. Experience creating impactful in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning experiences. Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills.
